In commemoration of Amitabha Buddha Day, Vihara Maha Aura Sala organizes the event 10,000 Lamps, 10,000 Hopes, a series of spiritual activities rich in meaning and virtues.
Through the lighting of 10,000 lamps, devotees are invited to cultivate loving-kindness, hope, and wholesome aspirations, while offering devotion to Amitabha Buddha. Each lamp symbolizes prayers, aspirations, and hopes for a more peaceful life filled with compassion, as well as the aspiration for rebirth in the Sukhāvatī Bhumi.
This event is open to the public and serves as a moment of togetherness for devotees to practice the Dhamma, engage in devotional ceremonies, and deepen their understanding of the teachings of Amitabha Buddha.
